NYSE Develops Year-Round Tokenized Securities Trading Platform

Aligning with the Cryptocurrency Market

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) announced on January 19 the development of a platform that enables trading of tokenized securities and on-chain settlements.

The new digital platform will offer a tokenized trading experience that includes 24/7/365 operations, instant settlements, dollar-denominated order sizes, and stablecoin-based funding.

The platform's design combines NYSE's cutting-edge pillar matching engine with a blockchain-based post-trade system. It features capabilities to support multiple chains for settlements and custody.
