Coinbase Officially Launches Corporate Stablecoin Issuance Service

Coinbase has officially launched its custom stablecoin issuance service for businesses, a part of the platform expansion plan announced last December. This service provides a mechanism for companies to issue their own branded stablecoins.

These custom stablecoins are fully backed 1:1 by US dollar-linked stablecoins including USDC. The collateral assets are held in Coinbase's custody, utilizing a segregated and audited regulatory-compliant infrastructure that protects over $300 billion in assets.
