U.S. Treasury Secretary Reaffirms Addition of Seized Bitcoins to Strategic Reserves

On January 20th, U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that all confiscated bitcoins will be added to the strategic Bitcoin (BTC) reserves.

In response to a journalist's question, he emphasized, 'The administration's policy is to not sell the seized bitcoins but to add them to our digital asset reserves.'
