Solana Mobile Begins Distribution of Its Native Cryptocurrency SKR, Airdropping Approximately 2 Billion Tokens

Solana Mobile announced on January 21 via X (formerly Twitter) that it has started distributing its native cryptocurrency SKR to users of its 'Seeker' smartphone. Users can initiate the receipt process through the 'Activity Tracking' tab in their Seed Vault Wallet on the Seeker device. The received SKR can also be staked directly. A fee of approximately 0.01 SOL is required to receive the tokens. The deadline to claim the tokens is 90 days, with unclaimed tokens by April 20 being returned to the airdrop pool. The distribution targets approximately 100,000 users and 188 developers.
