President Trump, speaking at the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum held in Davos, Switzerland, expressed his desire to sign the Cryptocurrency Market Structure Bill 'soon'. He reiterated that the United States is the 'hub of cryptocurrency', showing optimism for the enactment of the bill, which includes Bitcoin (BTC). Last week, the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase withdrew its support for the bill, leading to a postponement of the scheduled Senate Banking Committee hearing. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that 'no bill is better than a bad bill', indicating that conflicts with the banking sector over stablecoin yields were behind the withdrawal.
