South Korean Government Bonds Tokenized on Solana for the First Time, Maintaining Predictable Interest Income

On January 21, Scott Lee from the Solana Foundation announced via a post on X (formerly Twitter) that Shinhan Securities, in collaboration with Etherfuse, has successfully tokenized South Korean government bonds on the Solana (SOL) network. This is the first instance of South Korean government bonds being tokenized and listed on a public blockchain.

In his post, Lee emphasized, 'This is the first case where South Korean government bonds have been made accessible in a tokenized form while maintaining predictable interest income.'
