Bybit to Phase Out Services for Residents of Japan, Switching to 'Close-Only' by End of March

On January 22, cryptocurrency exchange Bybit announced it will gradually cease offering products and services to residents of Japan.

Starting from 12 PM on March 23, the platform will switch to 'close-only' mode, and by 12 PM on July 22, all open positions will be forcibly closed. This applies to users identified by any of the following: a Japanese-issued ID, a proof of address in Japan, or a Japanese IP address.
