The amendments include provisions to address President Trump's conflict of interest. Senator Michael Bennet's proposed amendment introduces the 'Digital Asset Ethics Act,' which aims to restrict digital asset transactions by the President, Vice President, and members of Congress. President Trump has reportedly earned approximately $1.4 billion from decentralized finance projects such as World Liberty Financial and also holds a 20% stake in the mining company American Bitcoin.
