Limited-Time USDC Payments for Inbound Travelers Initiated at Haneda Airport Terminal 3

Japan Airport Building and Netstars announced on January 26 that they have started a demonstration of payments using the US dollar-denominated stablecoin USDC in two stores located in Haneda Airport's Terminal 3. The initiative, aimed at enhancing convenience for inbound travelers, will run until February 28. The participating stores are Edo Shokuhinkan (Jidai-kan) and Edo Event Hall. Customers can make payments with USDC by presenting a payment QR code developed by WEA JAPAN at the stores and transferring USDC from their own wallets.
