No Plans for a Binance Return, Says CZ, Discusses Presidential Pardon and Future Endeavors

Changpeng Zhao (commonly known as CZ), the co-founder of Binance, attended the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting (Davos Meeting) for the first time, which concluded on January 23. During the event, he spoke about the presidential pardon he received from Donald Trump and explicitly stated that he has no plans to return to Binance. He mentioned that his involvement with Binance is minimal and believes that 'stepping back is the right thing to do to allow strong leaders to emerge and grow.' He also noted that if he ever wants to offer advice to Binance, he would 'just write it on Twitter (now X).' CZ expressed that receiving the pardon has made him feel 'much more free and liberated psychologically.'
