U.S. Government Seized Cryptocurrencies Under Investigation for Theft Suspicions

CoinDesk reported on the 26th that the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has officially started investigating the suspected illicit outflow of approximately 5.6 billion yen (over 40 million dollars) in government-seized cryptocurrencies.

The investigation was triggered by allegations made by blockchain investigator ZachXBT from the 23rd to the 26th, concerning John Daghita, the son of the CEO of the contracted management company Command Services & Support (CMDSS). This marks the first official comment by the authorities in response to these allegations.
