Up to 500,000 yen purchasable annually

According to local Russian media reports on the 26th, the cryptocurrency regulation proposal drafted by the Central Bank of Russia will enable both qualified and non-qualified investors to purchase cryptocurrencies. Anatoly Aksakov, chairman of the Financial Market Committee of the State Duma (lower house), revealed in an interview with the newspaper that the relevant legislation will be completed by July 1, and from July 1, 2027, they will start holding illegal cryptocurrency brokers accountable. Specifically, non-qualified investors will be able to purchase only the most liquid cryptocurrencies through a single licensed broker, with an annual limit of 300,000 rubles (about 500,000 yen).
