Temporarily Falls to 11th Place Globally

According to market cap data from Companiesmarketcap, Bitcoin's sharp decline has temporarily knocked it out of the world's top 10 assets by market cap.

Bitcoin is currently trading at around $83,000 per BTC, with a market cap of approximately $1.65 trillion, placing it 11th globally, just behind Saudi Aramco and ahead of Taiwan Semiconductor. It has since regained its position in the top 10.

Bitcoin's market cap reached its peak in October 2025 at about $2.5 trillion, with prices momentarily surpassing $126,000. This week's sell-off, driven by approximately $1.6 billion in long liquidations, saw prices drop from around $90,000 to $81,000...
