Bitcoin Indirect Holdings by Norwegian Government Fund Increase by Approximately 150%

According to cryptocurrency research firm K33, the Norwegian government fund's indirect holdings in Bitcoin are projected to reach an equivalent of 9,573 BTC by 2025, marking a 149% increase from the previous year. The increase in holdings has been facilitated through investments in companies such as Strategy, MARA, MetaPlanet, Coinbase, and Block. Although the fund has not directly purchased physical Bitcoin (BTC), the continuous accumulation of Bitcoin by these companies has resulted in an increase in indirect holdings. Betre Lunde, head of research at K33, noted that by the end of 2025, the holdings would amount to approximately 85 billion Norwegian Krone (equivalent to 1,363 billion yen).
