Tether Invests ¥15.6 Billion in Crypto Bank Anchorage, and ¥23.4 Billion in Gold-Related Investments

On February 5th, Tether, a major issuer of stablecoins, announced a strategic investment of $100 million in Anchorage Digital, the first digital asset bank under U.S. federal regulation. On the same day, it was also revealed that Tether invested $150 million in the gold trading platform Gold.com, acquiring approximately 12% of its shares. Anchorage Digital offers cryptocurrency staking, custody, and stablecoin issuance services in compliance with federal regulations both within the U.S. and internationally.
