Coincheck to Discontinue ENJ Trading, Conversion to Japanese Yen Planned for Holders

Japanese Yen Reimbursement Scheduled for Late February

Coincheck, a domestic cryptocurrency exchange, announced that it discontinued the handling of Enjin (ENJ) around 14:00 on February 9. The company had previously indicated in a notice dated December 15, 2025, that it would cease handling ENJ, along with BAT and QTUM. For users holding ENJ after the discontinuation time, Coincheck plans to sell the ENJ at a time and method it deems appropriate after 12:00 on February 10, 2026, and then convert it to Japanese Yen to be reflected in user accounts. The conversion to Japanese Yen is expected to be completed by late February 2026, although this may vary due to market liquidity effects.
