Bitcoin Could Temporarily Drop to $50,000, Standard Chartered Lowers Short-Term Outlook

Downward Revision of Outlook

Jeffrey Kendrick, the head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, warned in this week's report that cryptocurrency prices could face further declines in the coming months.

The year-end targets for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) have been revised down to $100,000 and $4,000, respectively.

Short-term downside targets were set at $50,000 for Bitcoin and $1,400 for Ethereum. The report also adjusted the targets for other altcoins, with Solana (SOL) revised from $250 to $135 by 2026, XRP from $8.00 to $2.80, and BNB from $1,755 to $1,050...
