Israeli Military Personnel Charged with Betting on Polymarket Using Classified Information

According to multiple Israeli media sources, including The Jerusalem Post, the Tel Aviv District Court indicted an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reservist and a civilian on February 10th for using military secrets to place bets on the prediction market platform Polymarket.

The prosecution alleges that the reservist accessed classified information about a military operation planned against Iran in June 2025, and shared this information with a civilian to make multiple bets.
