New Record Set in Trading Card Transactions

American influencer and WWE wrestler Logan Paul's extremely rare 'Pikachu Illustrator (PSA 10)' Pokémon card was auctioned on the 16th at Goldin Auctions in the US for $16,492,000 (approximately ¥2.5 billion). A Guinness World Records official was present, officially updating the record for the highest transaction amount in trading card history, not just for Pokémon cards.

The buyer was AJ Scaramucci, son of former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci and a venture capitalist.
