ProShares Lists New ETF 'IQMM' Focused on Stablecoin Reserve Assets

On the 19th, ProShares, a major U.S. ETF provider, listed the 'ProShares Genius Money Market ETF (IQMM)' on the New York Stock Exchange, which invests in assets that meet the reserve requirements for cryptocurrencies stablecoins as defined by U.S. law. The ETF, which will be governed by the Genius Act set to be implemented in July 2025, exclusively targets assets with extremely high liquidity and safety, such as short-term U.S. government bonds and cash with maturities of 93 days or less. Unlike typical funds, it does not track price fluctuations. This sets it apart from traditional investment products that track stablecoins, ensuring legal compliance for issuers' reserve funds.
