MetaPlanet CEO Rebuts Criticism Over Disclosure Issues

Emphasizes 'Appropriate Disclosure, Consistent Strategy'

On the 20th, Simon Gerovich, CEO of MetaPlanet, posted an unusual full rebuttal on X (formerly Twitter) in response to criticisms of the company's disclosure practices.

The criticism came from an anonymous account, accusing the company of buying Bitcoin (BTC) with shareholders' money without immediate disclosure and remaining silent until the price recovered after making large purchases at September's peak. The account also vehemently criticized the concealment of losses from option trading and the opacity of borrowing terms.

In response, Mr. Gerovich called these claims 'inflammatory and contrary to the facts'. He stated that all of MetaPlanet's Bitcoin addresses are public, and the live dashboard...
