SBI Holdings Issues Digital Bonds, Offers Cryptocurrency XRP as a Bonus

On the 20th, SBI Holdings announced the issuance of its first security token (ST)-based corporate bonds. Investors meeting specific criteria will also receive the cryptocurrency asset XRP. The bond, nicknamed 'SBI START Bonds,' will be issued and managed using the 'ibet for Fin' blockchain, led by BOOSTRY, instead of the traditional securities depository and transfer system. The bonds can be purchased from 10,000 yen, and during the offering period from March 11 to March 23, investors who buy at least 100,000 yen will receive 200 yen worth of XRP for every 100,000 yen invested.
