Legal Framework for Seizure Procedures Established

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a federal bill that enables the seizure of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) based on court decisions during criminal investigations, as reported by DL News on the 24th. The newly enacted law officially defines cryptocurrencies as 'Intangible Assets'. It explicitly grants investigative authorities the power to seize assets through physical devices like hardware wallets and transfer them to a designated 'secure address', assuming a court-ordered confiscation.
