NASDAQ-listed GD Culture Group (Ticker: GDC) announced on February 25 that its board has approved the sale of 7,500 BTC it holds. The funds obtained from the sale will be allocated to the share buyback program of up to $100 million, which was announced on February 18.

The current value of the Bitcoin held by the company is equivalent to $520 million, more than five times the approved amount for the share buyback. Meanwhile, the total cost incurred in acquiring the Bitcoin was $841.5 million...
