Fines Donated to a Non-Profit for Consumer Education

On the 25th, the cryptocurrency and prediction market platform Kalshi announced the results of two investigations related to insider trading, imposing penalties on the involved parties. The first case involved Artem Kaptoor, the video editor for popular YouTuber MrBeast (real name: Jimmy Donaldson). The investigation was initiated after Kalshi's monitoring team detected 'abnormally high success rates in low-odds markets.'
