Establishing a New Advanced Talent Development Program

The Graduate School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo announced on the 27th that it will establish a new 'Blockchain Application Practical Program' starting in the 2026 academic year.

In addition to the free public lectures offered over the past two years, the program will launch an education curriculum focused on literature research, presentations, and discussions.

The chair has three pillars of activity: 'social implementation,' 'research and development,' and 'talent development and nurturing.' It is committed to creating blockchain businesses, making policy recommendations, and conducting interdisciplinary research across computer science, cryptography, and economics, as well as producing entrepreneurial talent.
