On the 26th, Consensys, a leading Ethereum developer, announced the nationwide release of the 'MetaMask Card,' a cryptocurrency payment card developed in partnership with Mastercard. After a trial run in 2025, this marks the first time residents of New York State can use the service, enabling direct cryptocurrency payments for everyday transactions.
