U.S. Department of Justice's Scam Center Freezes and Seizes Over 90 Billion Yen in Cryptocurrency

Achievements Within Three Months of Inception

According to a press release dated the 26th by the U.S. Department of Justice for the District of Columbia, the 'Scam Center Strike Force,' established in November 2025, has frozen and seized more than $580 million (equivalent to 90 billion yen) in cryptocurrency from a Southeast Asia-based China-related Transnational Criminal Organization (TCO).
