Florida Becomes First U.S. State to Pass Stablecoin Bill, Awaiting Governor's Signature

First State-Level Stablecoin Bill Passed in the U.S.

Samuel Arms, founder of the Blockchain Business Association of Florida, announced on the 6th local time via the official X (formerly Twitter) that the state's legislature has passed the regulatory framework bill for stablecoins.

Mr. Arms emphasized that this is a 'historic achievement' and revealed that the first state-level stablecoin regulation in the nation is expected to be officially enacted within the next 30 days following the signature of Governor Ron DeSantis.
