According to a report by The Wall Street Journal on March 9, the US securities exchange Nasdaq has officially announced a partnership with Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, to jointly develop a new market infrastructure centered on stock tokenization.

The system being developed by both companies is called the 'Equity Transformation Gateway,' which will utilize Kraken's tokenized stock product 'xStocks' as its foundation...
