Bitcoin (BTC) mining has surpassed the 20 million BTC mark. Approximately 17 years and 2 months after the genesis block in January 2009, over 95.2% of the total issuance limit of 21 million BTC has been supplied to the market.

According to on-chain data, this milestone was reached at block height 939,999.
