According to a report by Mizuho Securities covered by The Block on March 13, the stablecoin USDC, issued by Circle, reached a cumulative adjusted transaction volume of approximately $2.2 trillion in 2026, surpassing the $1.3 trillion issued by Tether's USDT.

This marks the first time since 2019 that USDC has exceeded USDT in adjusted transaction volume...
