Kenya's Ministry of Finance Initiates Public Comment on 2026 Virtual Asset Service Provider Regulations

Regulations Set for Stablecoin Reserves and Fees

The Ministry of Finance in Kenya has begun soliciting public comments on the 'Virtual Asset Service Providers Regulations, 2026'. The deadline for submissions is April 10, 2026. Finance Minister John Mbadi announced that public forums will be held in multiple regions starting March 30.
