Proposing Regulations for Cryptocurrency Trading

On the 20th, Fidelity Investments, a major U.S. financial services company, submitted a proposal to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding the regulation of cryptocurrency (digital assets) trading.

In this submission, Fidelity expressed its intention to support the SEC's efforts and recommended four key points, including the continued development of a regulatory framework for broker-dealers that handle cryptocurrencies.
