Bug Detected in Node Software

Zcash Open Development Lab (ZODL), responsible for the protocol development of the cryptocurrency Zcash (ZEC), reported on March 31 that they had discovered and corrected a significant vulnerability in their node software.

This was initially pointed out by security researcher Alex Sol on March 23. The vulnerability allowed miners to input invalid transactions that were accepted under certain conditions, leading to potential security breaches.
