Massive Hack on Solana-based DeFi Platform Drift, Up to $270 Million Potentially Stolen

Drift Suffers Major Outflow Damage

On Solana's decentralized trading platform, Drift Protocol, on-chain data from the 1st indicates a significant exploit incident. The damage is estimated to be at least $200 million, with some calculations suggesting it could be as high as $270 million (approximately 43 billion yen). Drift announced on their official X account that 'unusual activity has been detected on the protocol, and an investigation is currently underway. We urge users not to deposit funds until the investigation is complete.'
