Nick Percoco, Chief Security Officer at cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, announced on the 14th that the company is being extorted by a criminal group that obtained some of its customer data, but will not comply.

He emphasized, 'There has been no breach of Kraken's systems, and the funds are not at risk.' He further stated that they will not pay these criminals...
