Rakuten Pay Now Supports Payments in 5 Cryptocurrencies Including XRP and Dogecoin, Expanding to a 44 Million User Economic Zone

Rakuten Wallet Inc., a cryptocurrency exchange operator within the Rakuten Group, has started handling five new cryptocurrencies including XRP in its physical transaction services from April 15. With this new implementation, over 44 million Rakuten Pay users can now convert their holdings such as XRP into 'Rakuten Cash' electronic money, and use it for payments at over 5 million partner locations nationwide.
