Launching Cryptocurrency Trading on E*Trade

Morgan Stanley initiated a pilot offering of spot cryptocurrency trading on its subsidiary online brokerage platform E*Trade, as reported by Bloomberg on May 6. The trading fee is set at 0.50% (50 basis points) of the transaction amount, which is lower than industry competitors Coinbase (60bp), Charles Schwab (75bp), and Robinhood (up to 95bp).
