On May 8th, SEC Chairman Paul Atkins detailed the SEC's regulatory approach to the on-chain financial market during a lecture at the 'AI+ Expo' hosted by the American think tank SCSP (Special Competitive Studies Project).

Atkins highlighted how the current regulatory framework addresses various market functions such as brokers, dealers, exchanges, clearing agencies, and transfer agents, and how these could be adapted to the evolving landscape of blockchain technologies and digital assets.
