Zcash Announces Quantum-Resistant Roadmap, Sees Positive Cross-Chain Inflows

Aiming for Post-Quantum Transition Within 18 Months

Josh Swihart, founder and CEO of the Open Development Lab that develops the cryptocurrency Zcash (ZEC), spoke on December 7 about the measures Zcash is taking against quantum computers. A quantum-recoverable wallet is scheduled to be deployed within the next month, and a complete transition to quantum resistance is expected within 12 to 18 months.
