Net Loss Recorded Due to Bitcoin Impairment

Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2026 on the 11th, revealing a net loss of $378.3 million (approximately ¥59.5 billion), a 173% increase from the previous year's loss of $138.8 million. This loss includes a $224.1 million (approximately ¥35.6 billion) impairment loss on the Bitcoin held by the company, significantly impacting its financial performance. Despite these challenges, CleanSpark is actively pursuing developments in AI and high-performance computing (HPC) sectors.
