According to a report by CNBC on the 12th, five major unions including the AFL-CIO (American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations), the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the National Education Association (NEA), and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) have sent letters to all Senate members.
