SpaceX Discloses Ownership of 18,712 Bitcoins, Exceeding Initial Estimates by More Than Double

Significant Unrealized Gains Maintained

SpaceX has officially disclosed for the first time that it held 18,712 bitcoins as of March 31, 2026, in its initial public offering (IPO) prospectus (Form S-1) filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the 20th. The total acquisition cost was approximately $661 million (about 105 billion yen), with an average acquisition price per bitcoin of approximately $35,300 (about 5.61 million yen).
