Quantifying BTC Supply at Risk Due to Public Key Exposure

On-chain analytics firm Glassnode released a report on the 20th, systematically analyzing for the first time the portion of Bitcoin (BTC) supply at risk from quantum threats.

According to the report, about 6.04 million BTC, which is 30.2% of the currently circulating supply, have their public keys exposed on-chain, making them vulnerable to potential quantum computing attacks.
