Launching 'Tradum Payment' for Receiving Stablecoin Payments from Abroad in Japanese Yen

Fintech company Tradum Inc. launched the 'Tradum Payment' service on the 22nd, enabling Japanese companies to receive payments in Japanese yen for purchases made using stablecoins such as USDC by overseas buyers. The mechanism involves Tradum converting the received stablecoins into fiat currency and depositing Japanese yen into the bank accounts of Japanese companies. This arrangement spares Japanese companies from the need to directly hold or manage stablecoins, thus avoiding the complexities associated with wallet operations and cryptocurrency accounting.
