Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) officially announced on May 22 that it has implemented access blocking measures against the prediction market platform Polymarket. The Director-General of Digital Space Surveillance, Alexander Sabar, stated in a declaration that 'Even if blockchain and cryptocurrencies are used, betting money on specific outcomes constitutes online gambling...'
