Three affiliates of the South Korean conglomerate Samsung have been reported to jointly acquire a 4% stake in Dunamu, the operator of cryptocurrency exchange Upbit. This development was covered by local media including 'Korea Herald' on the 28th.

Upbit is the largest cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea. This acquisition is part of a strategic move to expand the digital asset operations within the Samsung group.
