Renaming the Cryptocurrency

The L1 blockchain project 'The Open Network' (hereafter, TON) announced on the 2nd that it has started a community vote to change the name of its native token from Toncoin (TON, hereafter Toncoin) to Gram (GRAM).

According to the voting website, the proposal was made by Telegram, the messaging app that originally developed TON.
