On the 2nd, cryptocurrency exchange Backpack announced the launch of its securities platform 'Backpack Securities'. The platform allows users to hold physical U.S. stocks and ETFs through a regulated U.S. securities infrastructure, while enabling the mutual conversion of these holdings into tokenized securities on Solana. The brokerage services are scheduled to begin rolling out in phases starting in June.
